Register here to audition for the indepenDANCE Competition Team. Sign-ups for your audition time will be posted in Studio B during the workshops.
JUNIOR AUDITIONS (For dancers ages 13 to 15 as of 08-31-17) Monday, May 22nd
YOUTH AUDITIONS (For dancers ages 10 to 12 as of 08-31-17) Wednesday, May 24th. If your youth dancer is trying out for the Hip Hop team, she will be assessed during their audition.
MINI AUDITIONS (For dancers ages 7 to 9 as of 08-31-17) Thursday, May 25th. If your mini dancer is trying out for the Hip Hop team, she will be assessed during their audition.
DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 5 minutes prior to your audition time. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE!! You will wait in the vestibule area until the studio door opens. You will have 15 minutes to warm-up in Studio B.
Note: Parents must wait outside of the studio during warm-ups and the audition.
Please bring a water bottle, wear all black dance-appropriate clothing, dance paws, and hair in a bun.
Allie will be assessing each dancer based on the following criteria: *Able to listen and follow instruction *Flexibility potential *Ability to perform in a group setting *Stage presence/outgoing personality
Allie will be assessing each dancer based on skills and terms reviewed at the workshop.
